1. Key Features

AiPi-SLE-Dongle

  • AiPi-SLE-Dongle is a PCBA designed by Ai-Thinker Co., Ltd. based on the BS21 chip. As a wireless Dongle, it uses a gold finger layout for the USB port, simulating a HID device when connected to a PC via USB, enabling wireless communication when paired with other SparkLink devices. The AiPi-SLE-Dongle features an LED status indicator and exposes UART and partial IO ports, facilitating software design and firmware burning.
  • The core processor chip BS21 is a highly integrated 2.4GHz SoC supporting BLE5.4 and SLE1.0. It integrates RF circuits including power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), TX/RX switches, and a power management module. It supports 1M/2M/4M bandwidths with a maximum data rate of 12Mbit/s. The chip incorporates a high-performance 32-bit microprocessor (MCU), hardware security engine, and rich peripheral interfaces such as SPI, UART, I2C, PWM, GPIO, USB2.0, NFC Tag, PDM, I2S/PCM, QDEC, and a KEYSCAN keyboard scanning circuit. It features an 8-channel 13-bit ADC that supports audio AMIC input, integrated SRAM and encapsulated Flash, and allows program execution directly from Flash. It supports LiteOS and provides an open, easy-to-use development and debugging environment, suitable for PC peripherals, IoT smart terminals, and other IoT fields.
