1. Product Introduction
- Overview
Rd-03
- Rd-03 is a radar module developed by Ai-Thinker Co., Ltd., equipped with the S3KM1110 chip from ICLEGEND MICRO. Based on FMCW radar transceiver technology, this integrated MCU millimeter-wave sensor SoC.
- Operating in the 24GHz K-band, it features a modulation bandwidth of up to 1GHz per single-frequency scan. Using FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave), it detects targets in a specified space and achieves high-sensitivity motion detection and subtle motion detection through radar signal processing.
- The Rd-03 module can real-time detect moving or subtly moving humans in the area. It provides visual configuration tools to easily set sensing distance ranges, sensitivity for different zones, and delay time for no-human presence.

- Smart Home: Detects human presence and distance to intelligently control home appliances via real-time monitoring reports.
- Smart Security: Enables motion-activated access control, alarms, and camera linkage applications.
- Smart Lighting: Provides precise human detection for public or home lighting (e.g., motion-sensing lamps, bulbs, table lamps).
- Smart Commerce: Detects human proximity within configurable distance ranges, activates displays, and maintains device operation during presence.
